I had to pay another 10 usd "minimum" to get a guide at Sigiriya, for the cave temple and Hindu temple I had zero information, the other tourists around me all were getting information from their guides I was jealous. The trip is a long day but there's lots to see and do, we left 8am and returned around 8pm so don't plan anything after. Really great value for money as it covered SO much - pick up and drop off in Colombo, visiting the rock temple, climbing Sigiriya, village tour etc etc. It was very customizable, they sent me a number of different options to switch out and customize my tour. And they were very communicative by Whatsapp from the time of booking which gives peace of mind. Dyan was a really good guide and I enjoyed all activities (except the spice garden where the salesman was a bit too pushy for my liking). The buffet meal was okay we suggested to our driver that a different restaurant be considered in the future. Definitely recommend this tour, the sites were great, but be prepared to spend a lot of time on the road.”
